“We got helmets that had no visors and when we told the guide guy to get us decent helmets with visors he told us he can’t do anything about it . My eyes still hurt because the sand that kept on coming in my eyes . And honestly you can’t enjoy when all you’ve been doing is closing your eyes and mouth trying to avoid sand coming in your eyes and mouth”

Meet the team at the Atlantis Dunes, find the guides in orange jerseys, and follow an English-speaking instructor across soft white sand. The one-hour booking includes a quad, helmet, hair net, and safety briefing, but the dune permit costs extra. Groups are limited to six.

You’ll ride a quad bike across the soft white dunes of the Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve with an English-speaking instructor leading the way. Allow about an hour, including a 15 to 20-minute briefing, setup, and photos. The actual ride lasts about 40 minutes, with the guide taking professional-style photos along the route.

Join Twin Venture guides Zwelakhi, Sfiso, and Luvo for a one-hour ATV ride through Atlantis Dunes. You will receive a safety briefing, helmet, mob cap, and sunscreen, then ride over white sand hills with time for guide-taken photos and views toward Table Mountain.
“The things that was said on the website is not how you will be doing it was all lies by the Twin venture and when you report no better response will be given and the time for the biking too , if it's 45min they will do 30min and brings you back to base without any explanation. poor services”
Follow a guide across the Atlantis Dunes on a quad bike in a small group of up to 12. Your price includes the bike, helmet, hair net, and safety briefing. Allow extra time and cash or card for the R205 dune entrance permit. Children aged 6 to 15 ride with guides.

Meet the team at Sand Dunes CapeTown and ask for DALU before heading into Atlantis Dunes. Your roughly one-hour session combines a guided quad-bike ride, sandboarding, photo moments, and safety briefing for up to eight people. Gear is supplied, but the R250 reserve entry fee is extra.
“We we’re literally driven for 5 minutes to a spot to take photos and spend 20 minutes watching someone else’s photos taken and ours for 5 minutes, then handed over to another guide to drive us out. That cannot be worth R6000. I have done this activity before and it was worth the money. This time around, I am very very disappointed and feel ripped off.”
