Follow guides such as Godfrey or Takudzwa across the soft white dunes of the Atlantis reserve on a quad bike. Allow about an hour, including a safety briefing, with roughly 50 minutes riding. Helmets and hair nets are supplied, but the R200 to R205 dune permit is extra.

Meet your guide at the Cape Town Quadbiking stand 20 minutes early, receive a helmet and hair net, then ride a personal quad bike across Atlantis Dunes in a small group. The session lasts about an hour, with roughly 30 minutes on the sand and smartphone photos along the way. Guide Du is especially praised for his helpful approach.

Ride across the white sand of the Atlantis Dunes with an English-speaking instructor such as Godfrey, Simon, Nigel, or Du. Allow extra time for the briefing and a separate R250 cash or R260 card entrance permit. Guides often help with photos and posing.

Meet Breathless Nomad guides such as Nigel, Peter, or Thomas at Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve. After safety instruction, ride a quad bike across the white Atlantis Dunes, then walk to the sandboarding slopes for a free added activity. Expect a small group of up to eight and a two-hour outing.
“Today was so much fun. Nigel was a great guide, super patient with our kids and the other group with us as we got stuck a few times. He took video of us each with our own cameras and made sure to get everyone in an action photo. The equipment was clean and in good condition and all staff super helpful. What was most helpful was we arrived late and they were super accommodating in getting up into the next slot so we didn’t lose any time. We had a great time on our last day in Cape Town.”
